Search Engine Optimisation, also know as SEO, is basically a strategy a company needs to come up to make their brand show up more for those who are already searching for your products or services on the SERPs (Search Engine Result Page).
''53.3% of all web traffic comes from organic search and 60% of marketers state that their highest quality leads come from SEO-engaged customers. Why is that? Because they are searching for a solution, and by being one of the top results you are fulfilling a need.'' Kody Wirth
Today people spend a lot of time searching about the best choices for what they are looking for before making a decision, and it is not different when it comes to hospitality. When searching online people will make their decision based on what business matches the most with what they want at the moment.
It is very important for a hospitality business to describe exactly what people will find in their establishments. For example, if your business is a resort full of activities for kids and family, you will not want to focus your campaigns for single and young people who are not interested in the activities you provide. If you want to attract people that interested in your business you will need to focus all your campaigns and so your website on your target, making use of the correct keywords, images etc.
When it comes to SEO you need to have in mind to always think like your target! What do they think when they are searching for your type of business? What terms they use when they are searching online? How much time do they spend online? What are your competitors? This way you will be able to create campaigns that will help your business to stand out.
